Procedures

  • The Resort is on EASTERN TIME and upon arrival:
    • Please instruct your players to first drop their golf clubs at the Golf. Clubhouse where we will tag them with an ID bag tag and load them on golf carts. We will provide cleaning and bag storage at night and have them available each morning. It is easiest for you and our staff to allow us to store your bag.
    • Check in and payment for your golf package is at the Hotel Front Desk not in the Golf Shop.
    • Check in for golf is not necessary in the Golf Shop for groups of or by individual Stay and Play guests. Our Staff out front will handle loading of golf bags and the Starter outside will check the group in.
  • It is a violation of Indiana State Law, to bring your own alcohol beverages and coolers onto the golf course. They must remain inside your lodging. This will be closely monitored by Resort Staff. Such items will be removed and held in the Clubhouse until completion of your round or you may return them to your room.
  • Complimentary range balls are included and players my receive tokens in the Golf Shop for the ball machine located across the street at the back of the Golf Academy building. 1 token usually satisfies 2 golfers.
  • The Clubhouse Grill is available for grab and go only menu options while at the turn. A limited menu of prepared items is available only between 18 hole rounds depending upon the time the group has. Please make sure your players understand how much time they have between rounds when making their
  • Golf carts are asked to not be taken to other areas of the Resort. Between rounds please return the carts to the front of the Golf Clubhouse for re-staging and re-pairing prior to your second rounds. This presents the best location and opportunity for gathering, organization and starting of play for you and our staff.
  • Our pace of play that you will be expected to follow is 4 hours and 30 minutes or less for 18 holes regardless of playing ability or game you are playing and will be monitored and adhered to by our Course Marshall. He is there to assist you and all other groups on the course in enjoying your rounds equally. He may offer suggestions such as playing ready golf, limit of 1 practice swing, be ready to play when it’s your turn, limit time looking for balls to 3 minutes or less, drop your cart partner off and go to your ball, 2 putt maximum, or possibly skipping a hole. Time at the turn is expected to be kept to 5 minutes or less.
  • No play in groups of more than 4 will be permitted at any time regardless of the numbers in your group. There will be no exceptions. Groups more than 4 will be split up. We have many groups and a lot of guests. We will accomplish a great experience for you and every other guest through proper group size and pace of play.
  • Music is welcome but should not be offensive and be kept at a volume that only your group can enjoy.
  • Golf carts are required to be off the course prior to darkness for your safety and our staff’s safety.
  • The Chophouse Restaurant at the Resort serves dinner until 9pm. Dinner reservations are required for all groups in advance to guarantee seating. Typically, we have many groups to serve. Please make reservations accordingly and it is important that you are on time for those so we may accommodate all Resort guests.
  • All Stay and Play guests receive 10% off merchandise in the Golf Shop. We also have sales specials and a nice sale rack of items. Club Fitting and Golf Instruction can be done via appointment and availability during your stay. Please see a Golf Shop Staff Member for details.
  • For Groups utilizing our Group EZ Tournament Services- all pairings, handicaps and game information for the entirety of your stay should be submitted to the Director of Golf a minimum of 3 days prior to arrival. During your stay, scorecards are returned to the Golf Shop immediately following completion of your round/match and all scoring will be done in the Clubhouse. This service is arranged well in advance at time of booking.
